Invisalign

Would you like a straighter, more even smile without wearing unattractive and inconvenient metal braces? With Invisalign, you can do just that! Our dentist can fit you for Invisalign aligners that straighten your teeth gradually, yet no one needs to know you are wearing them but you and your dentist.

Invisible Aligners

Invisalign are invisible aligners made of clear, BPA-free plastic. They fit comfortably over your teeth. Not only will no one else know they are there, you are not likely to notice them as you go about your daily life.

Consultations

If you are interested in getting a straighter smile without the hassle of metal braces, come into our office for a consultation. We will examine your teeth, talk to you about your goals, and discuss all the options. Invisalign is very effective, especially if your alignment problems are not extremely severe. We discuss all the advantages of Invisalign and recommend treatment with the aligners if you are a good candidate for them.

Designing the Treatment Plan

Once you choose to straighten your teeth with Invisalign, our dentist checks your teeth. We make 3-D digital images of your natural teeth. Then, we devise a detailed treatment plan that will gently move your teeth into straight, attractive positions.

Custom-Fit for You

A series of aligners is custom-created for you based on where your teeth are now and where you want your teeth to be once your straightening goals are achieved. They gradually move your teeth into their new position without the constant discomfort of metal braces. You don’t have to have them tightened by your dentist. You only have to wear them, changing to a new aligner every 2 weeks. You do need to come into our office every 6 weeks or so to let our dentist check up on your progress.

Life with Invisalign

Living with your aligners is nearly as easy as living without them. You only have to remember a few things. First, remember to change to the next aligner every 2 weeks. Remove the aligners when you eat and to brush and floss your teeth. Also, take them out if you are playing a sport where they might be damaged. Rinse the aligners with cool water whenever you like, but remember to clean them using the Invisalign cleaning kit. You can do this after you’ve taken them out for a meal. You can wear the aligners 20 to 22 hours per day.

See Dramatic Results

What changes do you expect with Invisalign? For some people, it is hard to imagine how a plastic tray can change the positions of your teeth very much at all. However, you will see stunning changes if you continue with the treatment as planned. All along the way, you can notice how much the positions have changed since you originally put in your first aligner. By the end of the treatment, you will be ready to take off the aligners. Your teeth look their attractive best and you are ready to face the world with a beautifully straight smile!
