Dr. Brenda Chekay

Dr. Brenda Chekay obtained her Bachelor's degree in 1991 from the University of Toronto. She then attended the University of Detroit Mercy to obtain her dental degree (DDS), graduating in 1995. She furthered her studies by obtaining her Masters in Dentistry in Orthodontics from St. Louis University in 1997. Dr. Chekay grew up in Etobicoke, and she has been providing quality orthodontic care for adults and children over her orthodontic career. She has maintained a private orthodontic practice, called Uptown Orthodontics in Oakville, Ontario since 1998.

She is currently serving as a director on the board of the OAO. She attends study clubs and lectures throughout the year to keep up with current trends in orthodontics and dentistry. Dr Chekay has also been a provider of Botox for bruxism, clenching, and TMJ since 2018 after obtaining certification from the AAFE.

During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, and traveling.
