Meet Dr. Sandeep Walia
West Metro Dental is pleased to introduce Dr. Sandeep Walia, a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, as a valuable addition to our dental family. Dr. Walia is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
In addition to cosmetic rehabilitation procedures, Dr. Walia offers treatments for snoring and sleep apnea to our patients. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). Alongside cosmetic rehabilitation, he also provides basic restorative dentistry and collaborates closely with our in-house specialists.
Dr. Walia earned his dental degree in 1995 from BDCH Davangere, a prestigious dental school in India. He continued to enhance his knowledge and skills through esteemed national and international institutions, including the New York University program for international graduates.
In November 2004, he and his wife, moved to Canada, and he was selected to attend the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry the following year in the DDS program. It was here that he came under the leadership of his esteemed teacher and mentor, Dr. H. S. Sandhu and other honorable faculty members, and was awarded the chair award in periodontics in 2008.
Dr. Sandeep is an avid golf player, and in his quiet moments he loves to watch movies. His wife is also a dental graduate from India and is a dental hygienist and is managing the offices. They live in Oakville along with his mother and their 3 kids, two beautiful daughters; Riya and Pearl and son shaurya.
