Dr. Amrita has graduated from the State University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, New York in 2015 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Research, India in 2009 as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She practiced in India for a year as an Associate Dentist and volunteered at the Civil Hospital before coming to Toronto in 2010. Dr. Amrita strongly believes in reinforcing the importance of oral and systemic health in the community. She has been the Peel Region Heart Health Ambassador of Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ontario and enjoys devoting her time by participating in community outreach programs. She actively participated in Hope International Dental-Medical Mission in Haiti in 2013, Buffalo Outreach Community Assistance dental outreach in Dominican Republic in 2014 and BOCA-RAM (Buffalo Outreach Community Assistance-Remote Area Medical) in Tennessee in 2015 to advocate dental treatment to the underserved communities. She enjoys spending her leisure time with family and friends, travelling, swimming.
