The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the way dental procedures will be done. The team at Westmetrodental is committed to providing high quality dental care in the safest possible environment for our patients and their families. Optimal oral health and overall well being is our pledge to you. Although costs of PPE are significantly higher, we have decided that We will NOT CHARGE our patients for PPE or any COVID-19 surcharge starting June1st 2020 until further notice. We hope to see you soon to take care of your oral health needs.

  • Are you / they having shortness of breath or other difficulties breathing?
  • Do you / they have a cough?
  • Any other flu-like symptoms, such as gastrointestinal upset, headache or fatigue?
  • Have you / they experienced recent loss of taste or smell?
  • Are you / they in contact with any confirmed COVID-19 positive patients? Patients who are well but who have a sick family member at home with COVID-19 should consider postponing elective treatment.
  • Is your / their age over 60?
  • Do you / they have heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, diabetes or any auto-immune disorders?
  • Have you / they traveled in the past 14 days to any regions affected by COVID-19? (as relevant to your location)

Positive responses to any of these would likely indicate a deeper discussion with the dentist before proceeding with emergency / elective dental treatment. For testing, see the list of provincial Health Department Websites for your specific area’s information.

Been a patient for 5 years. Dr Walia and his staff are incredible. Everyone greets me by name. Never wait more than 20 minutes for an appointment. The true definition of superior customer service and this is from a guy who worked in the customer service industry for many years.
